To this end, SciEssence has a flexiable employment structure.Project Centered EmploymentSciEssence, LLC uses a Project Based Business Model of Employment. AS such, employees are brought in for the lifecycle, or a subset of the lifecycle, of a project to work. New projects may add to the duration of work or a more and some projects are defined for all life cycles of a product family such as sales and technical support. Weither you consider yourself a firm, a contractor or an employee, projects at SciEssence may fit your interests. The financial and assignment are viewed as separate considerations in the employment contract with precedence give to the assignment.W-2 or Independent ContractorWeither you are Incorporated, 1099-MISC Independent Contractor Status (within the IRS Requirements) or would like W-2 withholding (coming soon), SciEssence, LLC can fiscally accomodate you reguarless of the project being worked on.TelecommutingSciEssence, LLC is a huge supporter of Telecommuting. We prefer all engineering, technical publications, administration and any other telecommute possible activities be conducted as such. This allows people to work more efficiently, not waste time that could be better spent working or with ones family in travel, provides flexability in ones schedule for personal emergencies etc. Security precautions such as the use of PGP Encryption for emails and SSH and SSL for file transfer are required for employees to use at all times.Policy and Procedure DocumentationSciEssence, LLC follows the recommendations set forth in ISO9000 and QS9000 for procedure documention and product specifications. These documents are available electronically to employees for their review. Procedures, including Style Guides, are clearly defined and must be followed by all employees. |
