Mechanical Engineer (2 Catagories) | Research Assistants (2 Catagories) We are looking for the brightest students, recent graduates, and Post-Doctoral candidates to add to our team as junior staff. All Internships are Telecommute positions that are designed to test your knowledge, skills ability to communicate via electronic means with the staff of SciEssence. Your Portfolio Resume, which needs to be detailed reguarding your skills, knowledge and experience, must be in IEEE compliant format an in HTML or Plain Text. The top 25 applications in any given area will be offered internships, and the top 3 interns in each catagory will be submitted for employment and contracting opportunities at SciEssence.
Your assignments are based on existing technology developed by experienced engineers. Those engineers will review your work and provide you with feedback and a final review and recommendations for employment. Internships will vary in length from 4 weeks to 4 months depending on your available time and skill level. Linux is the "OS of Choice" for SciEssence except where required by specialized tools.

Graphic Artist Intern Apply
Job Purpose:

• Editing/Updating Adobe Illustrator 9 files under the direction of the head Graphic Artist
• Locate Public Domain graphics and edit as necessay
• Animate GIF graphics
• Coordinate graphics collections for style and content

• Working with Adobe Illustrator 9 for vector graphics editing
• Working with Image Magic or other GIF and JPEG bitmapped graphics editors
• Working with GIF Animation tools

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator 9 and bitmapped graphics editing tools
